GRIFF Industry

GRIFF Industry aims to promote the presentation, promotion and exchange of Chinese-language films. It organizes film presentations, project launches, market screenings and exchange events. Drawing on the standing of the Golden Rooster Awards and supported by Xiamen's film and culture policies, it provides a service platform for the integrated development of Chinese-language cinema. From November 13 to 16, 2024, GRIFF Industry was held in Xiamen. With the aim of shared prosperity for Chinese-language cinema, this edition presented 16 events over four days, including project signings, Chinese-language film promotions, market exchange sessions and Golden Rooster Film Academy sessions, as well as market screenings of 6 features and 20 short films. It gave filmmakers from Chinese-speaking regions a platform for exchange and cooperation and supported the international development of the Chinese-language film industry. Now in its second year, GRIFF Industry is based in the mainland film and television industry and serves Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese-speaking regions, helping to build a large market for Chinese-language films. This year a number of Chinese-language films reached wider audiences from the Golden Rooster, and in the years ahead more filmmakers and films are expected to set out from GRIFF Industry for the global market.
