About the Project

The Huawei XMAGE · Golden Rooster Mobile Film Project was jointly initiated by the Organizing Committee of the China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival and Huawei. The initiative is dedicated to continuously building a vital new window and platform for creative exchange and collaboration among mobile filmmakers in the digital era, collectively exploring the expansive frontiers of mobile cinematic storytelling.

The project will continue to deepen its collaboration with universities, film and television institutions, streaming platforms, and vertical entertainment media to elevate its professional caliber, authoritative standing, and global industry influence. By utilizing mobile filmmaking as a dynamic medium, the project seeks to channel exceptional creative talent from around the world into the Chinese film industry, actively fostering the enduring prosperity and advancement of Chinese-language cinema.

The Organizing Committee warmly invites all individuals and creative groups passionate about mobile filmmaking to take part; filmmakers and enthusiasts from all countries and regions worldwide are eligible to submit their works. The competition imposes no restrictions on mobile phone brands or models. All mobile films that comply with the official submission guidelines and regulations are eligible for submission.
