Zhu Beizhe, the worst-performing salesman, is sent to Mozambique to sell Chinese-made motor tricycles and eventually wins a foothold. Unexpectedly, the much-loved tricycle becomes caught up in a major international ivory smuggling case, with several Chinese tourists part of the smuggling chain. Working with tour guide Jin Nanyuan, one on the inside and one on the outside, Zhu Beizhe races against death across the African savanna.
