Safe Journeys

Creative Statement

The film follows three stretches of road: the most dangerous expressway, the loneliest national highway in the mountains, and a shantytown under redevelopment, closest to where people live... In the endless flow of the road network, traffic police officers of three generations, each carrying the private pains of ordinary people, guard their own small capillaries of the network, seeking no great deeds, only safe journeys.
