About the Director

Graduated from the Directing Department of the Shanghai Theatre Academy and the film directing program of the Central Academy of Drama, studying under Shi Jian, founder of CCTV's Oriental Horizon. Previously worked at China Central Television, and later founded Xiangshang Xiangshan Pictures with authorization from the relevant authorities. Directed works My Coming-of-Age Ceremony and Sunrise Above the Clouds were selected for the First Feature Competition of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (an A-list festival) and nominated for Best Director at the San Francisco International Film Festival, among others. Producing credits Looking for the Ox, Wake Me Up Before You Leave and Goodbye, Fireflies have received awards and nominations at Golden Rooster events.

About the Producer

Producer. Graduated from Xiamen University and later studied film production at Florida State University in the United States. Selected works: Mystery, Blind Massage, Beijing Love Story, My Adolescence, The Great Hypnotist and Go Away Mr. Tumor.

About the Screenwriter

Received bachelor's and master's degrees in film directing from the Central Academy of Drama, and has taught film directing in the academy's Department of Film and Television since 2016. Worked as director and screenwriter on The Bystander and Traces of Love, and as screenwriter on the TV series My Daughter Is a Flower and Meeting You in Tibet. The screenplay Old Li Takes Command was selected for the Young Screenwriters Program of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.
