About the Director

From Shenzhen, Guangdong; holds an MFA from the Academy of Film at Hong Kong Baptist University. One of the top 10 directors of the 8th CFDG Qingcong Project. Short films have been selected for the top 20 directors of the 2024 Shanhai Project, the FIRST International Film Festival directors' training camp, HiShorts! Xiamen Short Film Week, the Chongqing Youth Film Festival, the Hangzhou Golden Lotus Awards and other festivals. Has worked on several theatrical films and documentaries, including Love Is Delicious, Little Cave, The Journey, Go See the Sea, Forgive Him 77 Times and the documentary China.

About the Producer

Jane Zheng: Selected works include Dead Pigs (2018), winner of a Special Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival; The Farewell (2019), nominated for Best Motion Picture at the Golden Globes and winner of Best Actress in a Comedy; A Song Sung Blue (2023), selected for the Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and for the Busan, Pingyao and Tokyo International Film Festivals; and The Timid Dragon (2024), selected for the main competition of the FIRST International Film Festival. Other works include Breathless, King of Peking, Searching and The Man from Atlantis. Lin Boyu: Selected works include Summer Fall (2025), selected for the Asian New Talent section of the Golden Goblet Awards at the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival, winner of Best Film at the Osaka Asian Film Festival, and selected for the Her Frame section of the 19th FIRST International Film Festival.
