Synopsis

In an age when advertising fills every corner and even everything in nature has become an advertising medium, people can block the ads in their ears and get a moment of quiet amid the noise only by subscribing to a service called "Peace of Mind". One day the protagonist, Guan Zhongwei, seeking inner calm, suddenly finds that his "Peace of Mind" subscription has lapsed. He tries to get help but is pushed into endless complaint and application procedures. Reality and rules form an invisible barrier that traps him in a flood of information and noise. Running around and waiting, Guan Zhongwei is gradually pushed to the edge of collapse. Night falls, the advertising noise still has not stopped, and the quiet he seeks grows ever more distant.
