Synopsis

The short Dance Shoes tells the story of a girl who has loved dance since childhood but, as fate would have it, never got to enter the world of dance. She becomes the caretaker of a studio, spending every day next to dance and quietly watching its splendor, her heart full of regret. During rehearsals, she secretly imitates the dancers' movements in places the lights do not reach, filled with longing. But self-doubt and fear follow her everywhere: she is afraid of being found out, and even more afraid of being laughed at. So she can only dance freely in her dreams, where she becomes a free and graceful dancer. The short depicts a girl's inner struggle and pursuit, and reflects on dreams and reality.
