Synopsis

Li Xiang is traumatized after her son Duoduo drowns at the seaside, and she often talks with her imagined son. Her husband has left her and started a new family. Having lost her son, she lives in constant anxiety and cannot leave her own world. On Duoduo's birthday, she begs her ex-husband to go with their son to the seaside to set off fireworks one more time. Although he is unhappy about her mental state, he misses their son too and agrees to go. At the seaside, the fireworks are damp and will not light. As her ex-husband gets ready to leave, Li Xiang looks up at the sky and imagines watching blue fireworks bloom there with her son. Her ex-husband looks at her and raises his head too, as if he can also sense the fireworks.
