Synopsis

Because of a river in the village of his childhood, he drifted like a boat to Guangzhou, and promised his father he would buy a luxury car in the big city to make him proud. Many years later, he is still only a low-paid car washer. One day he learns that his father is about to die and has to prepare to go back home. Just as he is closing the car wash, a customer drops off a luxury car and asks him to deliver it to a designated luxury hotel on time. After a struggle with himself, he drives off in the customer's car without permission. In the car he sees the colorful yet chaotic side of the city, and drives toward the clean, pure countryside he misses. In fact, he never drove off in the car. In the end he delivers it to the designated place on time, gets out and returns, flustered, into the noise of the city.
