Synopsis

The film tells of a clumsy stunt double on a makeshift film crew who falls for the leading actress. Because he is comical, unsteady and keeps making mistakes, he is often scolded by the director. He hates the incompetent, hot-tempered director and is jealous of the leading actor who tries to get close to the actress. One noon, while everyone is taking a break, he goes to the set, imitates the director's ugly behavior and falls asleep in the director's chair. In his dream he becomes a director himself, ordering the real director around, pushing the leading actor aside, taking the lead role himself, and proposing to the actress successfully. Amid everyone's warm applause, he is slapped awake by the real director, who has run out of patience and tells him to get lost. Under everyone's gaze, the stunt double walks off into the distance, dejected.
