Synopsis

In the Laniakea Supercluster there is a third-rate planet (Earth). On the planet there is a city, in the city a small restaurant, and in the restaurant a little girl, who is the subject of a new documentary "I" am making with a friend. But one day, when "I" watch the newly edited film with my friend... Building on the traditional documentary, the film adds surveillance footage, split screens, the director's subjective subtitles, computer and phone screen recordings, AI reasoning and a film within the film. Exploring and observing carbon-based life from the perspective of silicon-based life, with objective surveillance colliding with the subjective camera and editing, it aims to be an avant-garde exploration of the documentary form. A feature-length documentary will be developed from this short.
