Three Contemporary Stories
Three Contemporary Stories
Synopsis
The film tells three contemporary stories, each approaching from a different angle, which together form a miniature picture of the present day. Story 1: In what seems an ordinary session in a counseling room, a young woman begins a conversation with a psychologist. As she talks, a truth quietly emerges, raising a tug-of-war over existence and choice. Story 2: In an experimental style, it reflects on contemporary art phenomena, recreating contemporary art scenes through parody and placing them alongside scenes from outside the art world, in an attempt to prompt discussion in a new context and reflection among viewers. Story 3: In the style of an absurd comedy, it tells a story of desire and longing, ironically depicting getting what one seeks and finding it empty.
