Kourosh, husband of shooting coach Leili, and Nasrin, fiancée of miner Saeed, are rushed to the ICU after a car accident. Faced with this sudden turn of events, Leili and Saeed have doubts about the accident; both want to know what relationship existed between their partners, a lawyer and a law student. A tender video that Nasrin left of an exchange with Kourosh leads Leili and Saeed, whose lives had never crossed, to start talking in private and try to untangle the story behind it as quickly as possible. Saeed cannot bear what Nasrin has done to him and wants to join with Leili to take revenge; Leili hopes Kourosh will wake up soon and explain. Unfortunately, Kourosh's condition suddenly worsens and he dies despite all efforts, while Nasrin wakes up as if by a miracle and is discharged. After Kourosh's funeral, Leili chooses to forgive her husband and is left alone with her grief. Back home, Saeed watches Nasrin gradually recover but still cannot forgive her. He asks her whether she would forgive him if their places were reversed; Nasrin says she would not. An emotional crisis between urban men and women reveals a modern side of Iran that differs from tradition. Yet in glossy Tehran, this seemingly simple, unremarkable secular side of Iran still shows the shadow of religious morality and traditional values. Director Asghar Naeimi no longer portrays a weighty Iran; instead he keeps things simple, using an ordinary story that everyone can relate to in order to bring people closer. How people react to loyalty and betrayal in love is not so different across cultures.
