The sky is cold and the earth is freezing. Yin Shou (Fei Xiang), the second prince of Shang, is leading a brigade of hostages and a large army of Yin merchants to conquer the rebel Marquis of Jizhou, Su Gu, when he inadvertently removes the seal of a demon fox from the tomb of Xuanyuan. The demon fox possesses Daji (Na Ran), Su Gu's daughter, and is brought back to Chaoguo by Yin Shou to present to her father and brother.
