1921: Synopsis

Taking a cross-section of the era as its perspective, the film focuses on events around 1921 and gives a panoramic recreation of a momentous, epoch-making moment a century ago: young people from all over the country, with an average age of only 28, evaded the surveillance and pursuit of complex international forces and gathered in Shanghai to hold the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, witnessing the founding of the Party.
