Portraying ordinary people who played their part in seven great historical moments in the 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, it sketches the modernization of New China through the life experiences of ordinary people in a great era. It shows the grand force contained in these great moments and the moving emotional strength of ordinary people who devoted themselves selflessly to the country; within the framework of historical and collective memory, individual memories take on the significance of their time.
