About the Director
Born in Xiamen, Fujian. Holds a master's degree from the Department of Film at Shih Hsin University in Taipei, and in 2024 completed an advanced course in the Department of Dramatic Literature at the Beijing Film Academy, where he wrote One More Show on the Road, his first feature screenplay and one focused on southern Fujian glove puppetry. His narrative short In Search of the Dream Builder won first prize at the Zhang Shaolin Short Film Competition; his documentary shorts include Face Without a Face. He has worked in film festivals for eight years, including the Golden Rooster Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Film Showcase, served on the final jury of the 35th Hundred Flowers Awards, and in 2023 organized the Xiamen, China - Penang, Malaysia Sister Cities Film Showcase to promote Chinese film culture internationally.
