Synopsis

Chen Xiaonian, working hard in a big city, receives a vat of millet "sent" from her hometown. Only when the vat is almost empty does she discover that her parents had filled it a spoonful a day, counting the days until she came home, and that this so-called delivery had been brought quietly by her father across the Yellow River.
