Synopsis

Ride-hailing driver Jiang Hao has been out of luck lately. Noisy human voices keep filling his ears for no reason, causing misunderstandings and conflicts with others. On someone's advice, he buys a fish to release, hoping to change his luck. To his surprise, he finds he can suddenly understand what fish say, and the noisy voices he heard before were the fish nearby making a racket. At the special request of the fish, he has to put his release plan on hold, and releasing a fish turns into keeping one. Meanwhile, images of the run-down chemical plant district where he lived as a child keep surfacing in his mind.
