Film Introduction
The story takes place in a remote Greek village. Unable to pay his debts, Thanassis decides to form an alliance with other debtors from the same debtor in a bid to set new terms together to counter the high pressure of the debtor. However, fighting the creditors is never easy for this group of peasants; everyone has a different idea of what is going to happen next, and perhaps no one can predict what is going to happen.
