Jiu Nao, a veteran from Henan Province who lives in Taiwan, often talks about going back to his hometown for retirement. He loafs around all day long and does nothing. One day, he ran into Luo Luo, a bar singer who claimed to be from his hometown. He thought that Luo Luo cared about him, so he regained his spirit and willingly accepted this scheming companion. Jiu Nao never felt much family warmth, nor did he have much feeling about his distant homeland. Jiu Nao, who has nothing, takes the singer on a journey, but where could be his final destination? Jiu Nao has never lived independently and can only continue to sleepwalk his days through jokes.
