Synopsis

The latest film by Gastón Duprat, director of The Distinguished Citizen. Arturo Silva is a smooth, snobbish gallery owner with an almost obsessive attachment to Buenos Aires. Renzo Nervi is an eccentric, misanthropic painter who ignores fashionable art and has long been forgotten by the world since his fame faded. The two men clash in ideas and personality at every turn, and their conflicts grow sharper over time. Just as their dusty friendship is about to end, a car accident forces Arturo back to the side of Renzo, who has no one else to turn to. Revisiting forty years of shared history, the two old friends reach a final reconciliation. Driven by the old painter's despair, Arturo turns to Dudu, a shrewd international collector, and tries to sell him paintings to turn things around. When that fails, they come up with a crazy, extreme idea that is bound to shake the art world and change their lives forever.
