Synopsis
Kang Xiang-wei's favorite book is The Forest Prince and the Mermaid, a picture book by the author Kauff, and he hopes that, like the forest prince, he will meet a mermaid who truly loves him. His mother has raised him with great care, so that he, a young man with an intellectual disability, can get through each day on his own and live a life very close to normal. Then one day Xiang-wei strays from his usual route to work and sees Blue swimming from the sea to the shore. Stunned, he at once takes her for the mermaid of the picture book come to life and feels the joy of love. This chance encounter makes Xiang-wei's "almost normal life" no longer "normal"...
