Synopsis

X is a ride-hailing driver in his early thirties. He once missed out on a precious relationship; worn down by reality, he has given up his hopes and dreams for the future and lives a tired life, one day like the next. One day X is stopped by a female traffic officer and told to fill in a baffling ticket. Claiming there is not enough room on the form, he slips away while she is not looking, and so begins a dream journey between the real and the unreal. In the vivid dream, X picks up three young cosplayers and drives them to look for a Ferris wheel on the edge of the city. The girls laugh and joke all the way, chattering about going to San Diego, California, for the world's biggest comic convention, and their innocence eases some of X's gloom. When the car reaches its destination, X and the girls wish each other well. Half asleep, X hears the sound of a rocket launching, as if the girls have really flown off to the San Diego they long for. In the early morning, X is woken in his car by the roadside by the traffic officer who has followed him. Starting a new line, he finishes filling in the ticket, and finds new hope for his life.
