Synopsis

An urban fantasy romantic comedy about a girl and a boy who fall in love, and the boy turns into a cat. Through this surreal "boyfriend turns into a cat" premise, it takes apart the anxiety and social expectations around dating and marriage faced by women over 30. At a family gathering, faced with relatives pressing her to marry, the girl makes up an absurd story about her boyfriend turning into a cat, answering nosiness with nonsense and lightening a heavy subject with humor, turning the pressure to marry into an absurd experiment of living with a cat. We give in to cat hair all over our suits, we give in to cans of cat food in place of a diamond ring, but we never give in to "You should find someone."
