Synopsis

A man returns to Taiwan from abroad, hoping to make it to his wedding the next day, but is placed in mandatory quarantine because of the epidemic. While he worries in the quarantine hotel about how to get to the wedding, a strange light drifts in through the window, and an alien invader takes over his body. To invade Earth, the aliens plan to detonate an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) bomb in the city to knock out humans' electronic devices and then bring in an alien army to occupy the planet. The alien in the man's body tries to leave the hotel but runs into one obstacle after another: a fierce security guard blocks the way, the neighbor next door hurls insults, and attempts to copy escape scenes from human films all fail. Finally, the alien decides to set off the EMP in the hotel, but during the countdown he receives a call from the man's fiancée, which unexpectedly stops the invasion. The next day, the man wakes up as if from a dream and completes a remote wedding with his girlfriend from quarantine, unaware that the two of them have saved the Earth.
