Synopsis

A thin man wakes with a start in a bathtub and finds himself held captive in a room by a woman with a gun. While trying to escape, he runs into a fat man locked in a wardrobe. To avoid being discovered, neither of them can make a sound. Because they keep misreading each other's signals while hiding, the thin man fails again and again and becomes trapped in a loop of escape attempts. After several repetitions, he comes to hate the fat man's recklessness and clumsiness and decides to frame him and escape alone. But just as he finally succeeds, he realizes that the real victim may not be the two of them but the woman... and that this escape, full of unanswered questions, is a recurring punishment for the crimes they have committed.
