Synopsis

This short was shot on an iPhone. With only one person and one space, the story manages to reverse both its plot and its genre and shows the romance of love and imagination. The short was inspired by my own experience of a loved one's serious illness and the inevitable decline of life. So the real ending of the short is not the moment Xiaotian calls out "Mom," but after all the end credits and the post-credits scene. On two different narrative levels, two stories about "love" reflect each other. This is the first short I have written and directed. It is a very important story to me, and I have tried to tell it in the most sincere way I can.
