Synopsis

In 2047, to deal with Earth's worsening environment, a joint government of all nations launches the "Oasis Project," sending astronauts to star systems light-years away to look for places where humans might settle. A year after arriving on M421, a planet frozen all year round, Chinese astronaut Qin Peng is about to set off on his final trek. On this journey he shares childhood memories of his older brother with his AI assistant LEO and ventures into an area he has never entered. Then a storm hits, and Qin Peng is knocked unconscious by a falling rock. When he wakes, he sees a scene similar to Earth. He does not know whether it is a hallucination or whether he is close to the human habitat he has been looking for. With all his supplies used up, Qin Peng faces a choice between life and death: turn back now, or risk everything on a slim hope...
