Synopsis

Trillions of years from now, the arrival of a cosmic ice age forces humanity to abandon physical form and store its consciousness as particles to go in search of a new home. After a long period of drifting and searching, the collective of human consciousness finally reaches its new home and is released again when the program restarts. Through one fragment of memory, the audience sees a family, a microcosm of all humanity, making a choice in the last moments before leaving home. Through the debate between the two camps of humanity, represented by the father and the mother, we rethink what it means to be human and the meaning of life. The short was shot on mobile phones against a green screen combined with scenes built in Unreal Engine, as an exploratory attempt at science fiction filmmaking with new technology.
