Synopsis

Using sugar-free soda as a thread and a point of view, the film shows the many emotions of young people over one day in the city: their close relationships, their work and their ties to family. Life is bitter, but our bonds keep giving us emotional comfort, like sugar-free soda: it tastes sweet but not quite, bitter but not quite, a little strange, hard to call good or bad, just like the taste of life. In form, apart from the final shot, the whole film is made of shots from the point of view of objects. This point of view is detached and neutral and moves the focus away from the characters. In reality we do not go into other people's homes to observe them; such observation needs a medium, and the point of view of objects is a good choice.
