Synopsis

Xiaowei, an accomplished ballet dancer, has not returned to the stage since giving birth. Once a dancer who shone on stage, she now works behind the scenes as the theater's follow-spot operator. Her life now revolves around her family and her daughter Doudou. Looking at her schedule as a housewife, full every day after work, she drifts further and further from the shining stage. Things begin to change when Xiaowei attends a parent-teacher meeting for Doudou. She gets a chance to return to the stage, but now she is full of hesitation... Can she regain her old confidence and shine on stage again? Is it for herself, or for Doudou? She struggles with all of this in her mind.
