Synopsis

This summer, Junjun is about to go to the United States to study. Before she leaves, she decides to visit her hometown, only to learn that a few days earlier her grandmother's house caught fire and the house and everything in it burned down. Her grandmother is in the hospital, the adults are busy building a new house, and her younger cousin Dongdong seems to have lost his wits, walking in circles around a field in front of the house. Back at her grandmother's home, Junjun does not know how to handle her relatives' questions and decides to walk in circles with her cousin to escape for a while. As they talk, she gradually understands how he feels: Dongdong has realized that after the college entrance exam he, like his older cousins, will leave and drift far away with no idea when he will return. Lost and helpless, he decides to record with his steps and his eyes the hometown he may never come back to.
