Synopsis

As the city develops and changes, many things from the past, good and bad, fade away over time. Only by looking back at history can we look ahead to the future. Hong Kong, China, where Chinese and Western cultures meet and blend, has many distinctive sights, and as time passes some of them no longer exist; people can only use images and memories to recall and rediscover the neon-lit Hong Kong of the past. Synopsis: On the streets of Hong Kong, China, long steeped in urban legends, a young food blogger from the mainland born after 2005 unexpectedly meets an eccentric Hong Kong grandmother born in the 1950s. To get into a members-only restaurant for his review, the boy strikes an absurd "deal" with her: he will help her find a talking cat. The two set off on a strange misadventure in Hong Kong... As night falls, the "talking cat" actually appears, but the old woman has vanished...
