Synopsis

The whole film is shot from an unusual angle: the first-person view of a robot vacuum, as if the robot were looking at the world. It is witty, humorous and moving. The story is about a mother who lives alone and longs for company, while her busy son can only visit once a week. After she injures her back in an accident, her dutiful son worries that bending over to sweep will hurt her back, so he buys her a robot vacuum. But once the robot arrives, her son visits even less, and the mother is unhappy. She finally comes up with a plan: she tells her son the robot is broken so that he keeps coming over to see her. In the end, the mother discovers her son's difficulties and hardships, and both of them grow.
