Letting Go
Letting Go
Synopsis
Late one night, a woman dragging a heavy suitcase takes a ride-hailing car to the outskirts. At first she ignores the driver's questions and asks him to play music, then can't help singing along. Later, chatting with the driver on the way, she hears about the small matters of his life with his wife, and one thing he says wakes her up. Gradually she finds herself again in the middle of her crime and turns back from the wrong path. It turns out that what is in her suitcase is her husband's "body". But a call from her mother midway plunges her into inner conflict again: perhaps her husband is not dead yet. Will she head into the abyss or turn back? Once again she stands at a crossroads. In the end she chooses to return to the city, has the driver stop at the police station, asks him to take her husband, who is not dead and is in the trunk, to the hospital, and turns herself in.
