I'm a Little Stutterer
I'm a Little Stutterer
Synopsis
Stuttering is a phenomenon of a particular group of people in daily life. Many of them feel inferior, while others discriminate against them and cause harm. We should understand it correctly, care for others and not laugh at them. Through narration, rap and personal account, the film tells the experience of a person who stutters. Presented as experimental film, it sees the big picture through small details. Starting from a public-service documentary approach, it tells the important stories of the protagonist's life, combining rap and personal account with traditional opera and using shadow puppetry to express images and emotions. The film is inspired by life and by the director himself. I am a person who stutters. I once got over it for a while, but later began stuttering again. Stuttering had a great influence on my childhood, leaving some shortcomings in my personality and other areas. Even now I still often feel inferior, because of family factors, social factors and more.
