Synopsis

A nursing student starts her internship. The sudden sense of mission and the pressure overwhelm her, and having never truly loved the field, which she entered at her parents' wish, she refuses to accept it and runs away from home to a city in the south. After a brief change of identity, she returns to her internship. The high-pressure environment leaves her with insomnia, and her irregular sleep and meals also bring her constipation, until she meets another intern who gives her a brief release. In her short time as an intern, she witnesses much birth, aging, illness and death, joy and sorrow, partings and reunions. In the alarms of the ICU she hears a distinctive melody: the courage and composure to face death. She gradually comes to understand the job and finds the light of medical care in her heart.
