Synopsis

Fang Daowen, an experienced and cautious hit man, has a peculiar habit on every job: before killing a target, he works out exactly why the target is being killed and records the cause in his notebook as a warning to himself not to make the same mistake. But day after day of killing has made him lose interest in his work. Then an utterly ordinary target, Li Ming, comes into view, and Fang Daowen, who has always fancied himself a "great detective", cannot work out why Li Ming is being targeted. In his search for the real reason, Fang Daowen tries every method and analyzes every angle, and finally narrows it down to Li Ming filming the screen in a cinema. In the end, Fang Daowen concludes that Li Ming was killed for taking photos in a cinema.
