Synopsis

The protagonist, Xiaozhi, is a teenager who loves drawing and draws everything he sees in his notebook. To others, however, he has no talent at all, because everyone finds his drawings very strange, and only then does he realize he is different from other people. As the world in his eyes grows stranger, his drawings grow wilder. Finally, one night, he sees his mother being "eaten" by a demon, and while trying to "rescue" her, he is knocked unconscious. The cause of his hallucinations, visual and auditory, gradually comes to light. There are no endlessly noisy flowers, no motionless crows, no man-eating demons. Everything is an illusion caused by illness. All he can do is cooperate with treatment and keep immersing himself in the world drawn with colored crayons.
