In the near future, under the pressure of a 'singles tax', Yang Chu and Mo Xiaotian, both with 'dopamine desert' constitutions, are swept into an absurd heist and go on the run; beyond the reach of failing technology, real feelings quietly grow.

About the Director

Screenwriter, director and editor. Short films directed have screened at the Shanghai International Film Festival and the Hawaii International Film Festival and were selected for the Asian University Film Festival, the Beijing College Student Film Festival and others. In advertising, has won a bronze award for Best New Director at the Golden Lion International Advertising Film Awards, a silver award for Best Vertical Production at the Golden Pupil Awards and a bronze video award at the Digitaling Awards, and received a nomination for Best Vertical Short at the Golden Investment Awards, among others. Selected works: the concept film Every Day with You, a Stranger (director/screenwriter), the short films Painful Laughter and The Child Waiting for the Kite, the documentary No body is Nobody, and the TV series Rise to the Clouds (assistant director).

About the Producer
