Synopsis
During a weekend in the countryside, Laura miraculously survives a car accident. Physically unharmed but deeply shaken, she is taken in by Betty, who witnessed the crash and cares for her with affection. Gradually, Betty's husband and son grow to accept Laura's presence, and a nearly familial sense of calm settles over the household. But soon, the past comes back to haunt them…
