Creative Statement
Adapted from Love on West Lake, a series of novels by Mao Dun Literature Prize winner Wang Xufeng. The story follows two Yue opera performers, Chuitiao and Yinxin. Caught between them is Gong Yushan, owner of a fan shop, whom neither of them can let go.
