Wake Up When the Fireworks Bloom
Synopsis
This is a story about how to forget sorrow and embrace harmony. In the near future, two eccentric doctors of psychology design a game called Fireworks. The kind-hearted Dr. Qin wants to use Fireworks to explore the roots of sorrow and joy; the ambitious Dr. Chen wants to use it to eliminate human sadness and make money. Amid this conflict of aims, the final test of the game begins: filmed openly by reporters, ten testers enter the world of Fireworks.

About the Producer
Yin Ge: Graduated from University College London, UK, and the University of Southern California, USA; founder of Hexiang Pictures. She approaches film with deep enthusiasm as well as rigor and humility, and aims to bring creative energy and social responsibility to her work. She has presented and produced films including Girls Always Happy, Stories Here and There, Mountain God and A Day Trip. Yang Aoxing: Producer of Catshark, Stars Nearby, Summer Improvisation, The Love of Language, The Duration of Time and others. Works by the creative team have been selected for the CFDG Qingcong Project of the China Film Directors' Guild, the Beijing Film Association Cup screenplay awards, the Wu Tianming Youth Film Summit, the Pingyao International Film Festival, the FIRST International Film Festival, the VITA Horizon Chinese Youth Film Festival, the 14th Lift-Off Filmmaker Sessions (2023) and the 2022 First-Time Filmmaker Sessions; selected producer of the FIRST Surprise Film Festival Producer Lab.

MOG: Designer, art director and founder of MOG_Design, exploring how visual culture develops in a "hybrid era". Since 2006 he has taken part in planning and designing a number of exhibitions in China and abroad. Honorary lecturer at Ctrip UED; teaches at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts and the School of Art and Design, Shanghai Institute of Technology. MOG_Design, as an outsourcing studio for Alibaba UED, handled operational design for Xiami Music from 2017 to 2020 as well as content design for Cainiao and Alibaba Cloud, and has provided design content for Ctrip Honghu Yiyou, bilibili and others for many years.
