Creative Statement
Set against the meeting of Chinese and Western cultures, Little Rascal uses a journey that its characters are forced into to tell a story of mother and son, life and death, love and hate. It explores identity, communication between generations, women's growth, and love, the deepest, most direct, most instinctive and simplest of human emotions.
