Synopsis

Three families, each facing hardship, set out in camper vans in search of answers. Living on the road with the van as home, they discover what they had overlooked about life and about loving and being loved.

About the Director

Screenwriter and director. His debut feature, Seventy-Seven Days, received the Special Grand Prize of the project market of the 4th Beijing International Film Festival; Best Producer at the Golden Lotus Awards of the 9th International Film Festival & Awards Macao, with nominations for best cinematography and best score in the main competition; Outstanding Actor at the 9th Zhejiang Film Phoenix Awards; Outstanding Feature Film at the 14th Beijing International Sports Film Week; and the Audience Favorite Feature Film award at the 2018 Lhasa International Green Film Festival. It received Film of the Year and Director of the Year nominations at the 9th China Film Directors' Guild Awards (for 2017). After release it was well received by audiences and became a box office surprise of 2017.

About the Producer

Independent producer with a master's degree from the Beijing Film Academy. Since graduating he has worked in film financing, production, marketing and distribution, taking part in the financing of more than twenty projects. Representative producing credits include Tell the Wind I Love You, Ghost Hunting Files, The Cocoon Town Romance, Leverage and Tianjin Wharf. He organized premieres for films including Love Strategies, Black & White and The Longest Hug, and planned and organized screening and exchange events with the Sundance Film Festival selection program, a Cuban film showcase, and film festivals in the Netherlands, Argentina and Belarus.
