About the Director
Director and screenwriter. Studied advertising design as an undergraduate at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics (formerly Guangdong University of Business Studies) and later took a course in the directing department of the Beijing Film Academy. Ten years in advertising creative work and eight years as a commercials director. Her sci-fi short Mister has screened at a number of international film festivals. Honors include the Jury Special Mention Award at the 2022 Golden Rooster Films Project Market; selection for the 16th FIRST project market under the Flamagic Pictures program; the top 20 of the 7th CFDG China Young Directors Support Program (Qingcong Program); and the Surprise Project of the Year at the sci-fi project market of the 3rd Blue Planet Sci-Fi Film Week.
