Film Introduction
An eighteen-year-old boy who has never left Taiwan comes to Beijing alone to look for his northern father who has not returned to Taiwan for over ten years. The sudden visit of the resentful son and the unexpected father disrupts his peaceful life. Strangers to each other, the father and the son have their own problems and try to get along with each other in a tit-for-tat confrontation. The festering conflict finally erupts on a wet, rainy night. When the father and son remove their disguises, can the knots that have built up over the years be put to rest?......
