Synopsis
An eighteen-year-old boy who has never left Taiwan comes to Beijing alone, looking for his father who has not been back to Taiwan for more than a decade. The resentful son disrupts his father's peaceful life with his sudden visit. The father and son, who are strangers to each other, are trying to get along in a tit-for-tat situation. The conflict finally breaks out in a wet and rainy night, when the father and son remove their own pretense. Can the knot, which has been pent up for years, be put to rest?
