Synopsis
At the height of the Vietnam War, the exhausted US Army Captain Benjamin Willard is sent deep into the jungle on a perilous and surreal mission: to eliminate the renegade officer Walter Kurtz, a Green Beret officer who has completely lost his mind. Willard and a small squad of soldiers travel upriver by boat, drawing closer to Kurtz's compound. Yet Willard gradually realizes that the nearer he gets to his target, the more he sees himself in Kurtz. The mission is full of unpredictable dangers, but one thing is certain: even if it succeeds, Willard will not be the man he was.
